Dear Students and Staff,

We are excited to announce an upcoming football match event that promises to be a thrilling spectacle of skill, strategy, and sportsmanship. As part of our ongoing efforts to promote a healthy and active lifestyle among the student body and staff, we have organized this event to bring the spirit of football to our campus. Please find below the details of the event:

Event Title: The Great Campus Cup Football Tournament

Date and Time: Saturday, March 15th, 2023 Kick-off at 2:00 PM

Venue: Main Sports Field, Campus Grounds

Teams Invited: Our event will feature teams from various departments and faculties, showcasing the diverse talents within our campus community. The following teams have confirmed their participation:

Engineering Eagles
Business Bulldogs
Arts and Humanities Lions
Science Spartans
Medicine Mustangs

Schedule of Matches: The tournament will follow a knockout format, with the following preliminary schedule:

Match 1: Engineering Eagles vs. Business Bulldogs (2:00 PM)
Match 2: Arts and Humanities Lions vs. Science Spartans (3:30 PM)
Match 3: Medicine Mustangs vs. Winner of Match 1 (5:00 PM)

Entry Fee: There is no entry fee for students and staff to attend the matches. However, we encourage everyone to support their favorite teams by cheering them on.

Dress Code: We kindly request all attendees to dress in casual, comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor activities. Please avoid wearing clothing with offensive or inappropriate messages.

Food and Beverages: A variety of refreshments will be available for purchase at the venue. Please note that no outside food or beverages are allowed.

Safety and Security: The campus security team will be present throughout the event to ensure the safety and security of all attendees. Please adhere to all safety guidelines and instructions provided by the security personnel.

Transportation: Parking will be available at the Main Sports Field. Please use designated parking areas and follow the instructions of the parking attendants.

Special Guests: We are honored to have local football legend, Mr. John Smith, as our special guest for the event. Mr. Smith will be conducting a brief training session for the players before the final match and will also be available to answer questions from the audience.

Volunteer Opportunities: We are looking for volunteers to help with various tasks during the event, such as ticketing, hospitality, and match officiating. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the Student Union office by March 10th, 2023.
